Introduction
The ET Series comprises a precision-engineered, computer-controlled motorised turntable which allows the device under test to be positioned with pinpoint accuracy relative to the relevant data receptor(s). In a suitable test environment, the ET Series products are invaluable tools for measuring many different sorts of emissions - electro-magnetic, optical, acoustic and many others.

The new Outline ET50-3D and ET250R2-3D turntables can be easily deployed in an ‘open platform’ context. Great care has been taken with the product’s usability as far as its end users and control software are concerned.
Both models feature a numerical display, a simple user interface and an input / output communications port based on TTL signals. However, the key to their accessibility, data acquisition and control is the network interface, allowing remote control via standard ethernet protocols.
Each turntable has an individual IP address and the user just needs to connect the unit to an existing LAN to control it via the provided software or via any of several third-party measurement systems. This allows for automated polar measurements, significantly enhancing the user efficiency of the devices.
